Terms of the practice space
A writing aid, with clear limits.
What is available here
Margin Practice provides self-directed prompts for describing evidence, considering a fictional decision and rehearsing a conversation. The site is not a recruitment service, job board, accredited course or consultancy engagement. Using a tool or sending an enquiry does not establish an employment, training or service agreement.
Use your own judgement
Check that the examples you enter are accurate and labelled appropriately. Our tools cannot verify the source of your work, assess a live campaign or determine whether a conclusion is justified in a real situation. Completion messages and checklist counts report interface state, not professional competence.
Respect other people’s information
Use only material you are entitled to use. Do not enter confidential account data, personal information about others, passwords or unlawful material. Anonymising a name may not be enough if the surrounding detail still identifies someone. A clearly fictional practice case is an alternative when permission is uncertain.
Exports and browser state
Text exports contain the notes you provide and the activity’s labels. Review them before saving or sharing. Most tool notes disappear when the page is reloaded; optional reflection check states may remain on a device with your permission. We do not provide account backups or promise recovery of unsaved notes.
Educational examples and imagery
The decision case and sample statements are fictional learning material. Original photographs illustrate workplace situations; they are not evidence of clients, employees, placements or endorsements. No affiliation with an advertising platform or employer is asserted.
Availability and feedback
We aim to keep the activities usable, but an interface may contain an error or be temporarily unavailable. Tell us the steps that caused a problem so it can be reviewed. We do not promise a reply within a particular time, an employment outcome or that any particular interview answer will succeed.
Use of the website materials
You may use the activities for your own learning and keep your own exported notes. Do not misrepresent the website’s materials as a professional certification, an employer endorsement or proof of campaign performance. Any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
