Cookies and browser storage
A small amount of memory, by choice.
What the pages use
The supplied site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses local storage for the essential storage preference and, only if you allow it, the four reflection checkbox states. Local storage stays in this browser and is not automatically shared with another device.
Essential preference
The entry marginPracticeStorage stores either essential or checklist. It lets the page remember the option you selected. The site keeps that choice until you change it using Storage settings or clear the site’s browser data.
Optional reflection checklist
The entry marginPracticeReflection stores the selected checklist identifiers when you choose Allow checklist storage. It does not store your name, portfolio text, decision notes or interview answers. Essential only removes this entry and prevents future optional writes.
Tools that do not persist
The folio, decision rehearsal and interview deck keep their text only while the page is open. Their Download buttons create files you can keep yourself; they do not create a cookie or a cloud copy. Clearing a tool affects that tool’s current page state.
Changing your choice
Open Storage settings in the footer to choose again. You can also remove this website’s data through your browser settings. When the essential preference is removed, the choice panel will appear again. The reflection Clear my checks action clears both the current ticks and any saved checklist.
If storage is unavailable
Private browsing modes or browser settings may prevent local storage. The site continues with page-only checklist state and does not claim that your choice was remembered. A later visit may ask again.
